Can you walk the length of the River Nene?

West Northamptonshire Council are holding a free virtual walking challenge! As part of encouraging wellbeing at work, they would like you and your colleagues to get involved. There are 1000 free places available on a first come first serve basis.

This virtual walking challenge will see you travel from the River Nene's most westerly source, near Arbury Hill, Daventry, all the way to the east coast where it joins the North Sea at The Wash.

The 105 mile challenge begins on Wednesday 1 May, coinciding with National Walking Month, lasting just over 8 weeks, and finishing on Sunday 30 June.

Simply walk wherever you like, measure the distance, and upload it onto the system to see your marker move along the virtual route.

There are also multiple leaderboards, allowing you to compete as an individual, as a team, and an organisation.

Can your organisation collectively walk the most distance? The competition is on to see who walks the furthest!

Follow this link to sign up now and share it with all your colleagues.

Please note if you’d like to compete as a team – speak to your colleagues first and decide on a team name prior to signing up. Then all sign up with the same team name.

If you have any questions or need help signing up, please contact info@endtoend.run.
