Latest updates
On this page you will find the latest updates from the Careers Academy.
Northamptonshire Health and Care Careers Academy is the perfect starting place for local employers seeking financial support for apprenticeships and is currently accepting applications for apprenticeship levy transfers.
The government apprenticeship levy is a form of taxation designed to help companies offer more apprenticeships. Even if your organisation does not pay the levy, you can still receive funds from one that is as part of a commitment from our health and social care employers to support the skills base within the wider economy.
Transfer funds can pay for the costs of training and assessment - and can be accessed quickly and efficiently with support from Northamptonshire Health and Care Careers Academy.
Over the past six months, we have transferred funds to our local health and social care employers, supporting 24 apprenticeship programmes, equating to £324k!
We currently have funds available to transfer!
To request a levy transfer, a form is available to fill in. All applications will be discussed and outcomes given within a four-week period, unless stated otherwise. Please allow enough time to receive this decision in alignment with any academic timetables.
System priorities and transfers will always be considered in the first instance and there is no guarantee of a levy transfer.
