Working, Caring, Living, Juggling & Balancing – The Life of a Working Carer
Integrated Care Northamptonshire’s inspirational Leadership Matters Conversations (LMC) series of free webinars returns from its summer hiatus, with the experiences of working carers the focus of our September session.
On Tuesday 20 September, the second half of the LMC calendar begins with ‘Working, Caring, Living, Juggling and Balancing – The Life of a Working Carer’.
This latest instalment of the series will be chaired by Anamika Joshi and brings together experienced voices from Northamptonshire Carers and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) colleagues.
Taking place virtually on Microsoft Teams and open to all health and care colleagues in Northamptonshire, the live session begins at 10:30am, with a recording to be made available for colleagues to revisit later. Summary of session
Supporting and caring for family or friends alongside work can be challenging. It can feel isolating and creates a real struggle to meet all the pressing demands placed on an individual.
By joining this session, you will get a taste for a range of topics. You’ll hear what daily life can really be like for working carers, as well as how Northamptonshire Carers supports those who find themselves caring alongside their work. The presentation also reveals how working carer networks support colleagues to achieve a balance, looking after their health and wellbeing.
