NHS 111 will help you straight away and if needed a healthcare professional will call you straight back. Please note is you need to contact NHS 111 about a child under 5 you must call 111.
And the best part is, if you do need to see a health professional, NHS 111 will save you the time and stress of hanging arouns waiting areas by offering you a timeslot* at the local health service which is best placed to help you - that could be an Urgent Treatment Centre, a General Practice, pharmacy or emergency dentist. All you need to do is answer a few questions.
